Places to see and things to do.

On the way to “The Retreat” from Auckland you might like to stop off at Waiwera for a swim in hot pools. If you arrive in New Zealand on an early flight, this could be a great way to relax.

4 Km south of Warkworth is the Honey Centre. At the Honey Centre you can view New Zealand's largest live bee display set into the wall of the shop. You can see the queen bee laying her eggs and the worker bees coming into the hive with their pollen. Lots of honey products for sale and a café.
